3. Attendance & Logistics

A: NDC London is an in-person event. Conference talks and workshops are in-person only.

A: If the conference is cancelled or postponed, tickets will remain valid, and can be used at the next in-person event. Alternatively, attendees can opt for a full refund, or attend online.

4. Workshops & Conference Schedule

Q17: How is NDC London structured?
A: NDC London is a five-day event: two pre-conference workshop days followed by three days of conference sessions covering various tracks and topics.

Q18: How do I book workshops?
A: Workshops can be selected during ticket purchase. If not selected initially, a workshop registration email is sent prior to the event.

Q19: Are sessions recorded?
A: Conference talks are recorded and published on the NDC Conferences YouTube channel about a month after the event. Workshops are not recorded.

Q20: Can I switch between workshops?
A: Workshop attendance is generally fixed due to limited capacity. If you would like to switch to another workshop, please contact the NDC London Team.


5. Speaking & Participation

Q21: How can I become a speaker at NDC London?
A: NDC London accepts speaker submissions through its Call for Papers process. Proposals must meet guidelines and deadlines, which are announced on the website.

Q22: What is the review process for speaker proposals?
A: Proposals are reviewed by the NDC London Agenda Committee. Selected speakers are notified and may be asked to provide additional information or presentation materials.

Q23: Are speakers compensated for travel and accommodation?
A: Travel and accommodation are covered for speakers who are not considered local. Selected speakers also get a 3-day conference pass.
